Grew up in Doncaster in the 70's and 80's. Life long interest in all things transport. Lived round the corner from the Blue Line depot in Armthorpe, and frequently travelled on the SYPTE buses as a child, hence my interest in both. Founded the South Yorkshire Transport Trust (SYTT) with fellow enthusiast Darren Sentance in 2007, though we had been working towards it for about 10 years prior. Recently taken more of a back seat at the SYTT to concentrate on completing the vehicle restorations that I had started with others many many years ago! I'm mostly associated with the South Yorkshire PTE Volvo Ailsa, - I own LWB377P - and I'm completing the restoration of LWB388P, which is owned by the 388 Group. I'm also helping to return Dennis Domintor B361CDT to roadworthy condition.
