Hello world. Here's a little about me. I teach Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, submission wrestling and self defense. I hold the rank of black belt under Carlos Gracie jr. and I have my own academy in Houston where I live. I have trained with and helped coach several of the worlds best grapplers and no holds barred fighters including UFC star Yves Edwards. I love to travel and compete but teaching is what I enjoy most. I spent all of 2004 and part of 2005 living in Brazil where I trained hard everyday(except when I would party, or travel, or go to the beach, or get too sunburned, or be lazy and watch t.v.,or try to get hot Brazilian chicks when I was single, or stay home with my girlfriend and, you know... lose weight.) Currently I am engaged to a beautiful and wonderfull girl named Ingrid. The fact that she puts up with my immaturity and idiocy makes her super special. Thanks to her I speak fluent Portuguese which I like to use to "help" my gringo friends with conversations with Brazilian girls. "Muito prazer senhora, quer transar agora ou depois do filme". They just can't figure out why they keep getting slapped. My goals are to continue to travel, compete and become the best teacher I can be. I am thankfull to everyone who has helped me get to where I am and I feel that I have been extremely blessed in my life. I aim to help as many people as possible through the martial arts because so many have helped me in my life. I am very opened minded when it comes to life in general and I try not to judge anyone or anything too soon, be it religion, lifestyle, decisions or whatever makes the rest of the world call you crazy...you buncha crazy bastards.
