I guess I shoot for myself more than others. I left photography for about twenty years and have come back. I much prefer a simplistic approach to my photography, subject and composition. Generally, dislike the vivid colors used by many who believe color takes the place of content.

Don’t seek to be an indifferent ‘pro’ photographer. Stay an amateur (which means “lover” in Latin). Never lose your hope and optimism for the epic ability of the recording possibilities of the camera!
