I have been crafting since I was a small and fell in love with quilting in college *mumble mumble* years ago. After taking a crafting break to have children, now 3 and 7, I am slowing finding more time for sewing. I love both modern and traditional quilting patterns. I've been having the most fun recently with free-piecing.

I love almost everything by Moda, especially lines by American Jane, Basic Grey, and French General; Heather Ross; and Alexander Henry.

I'm also crazy for Charley Harper, especially his bird prints; embroidery and cross stitch; Snoopy; birds; vintage and modern children's books; and vintage fabrics and linen calendars.

I am a thrift store junkie and enjoy searching for fabrics to repurpose--wool sweaters to felt, and so on. I get a thrill out of making something new from something that otherwise would have been discarded.
