Felicitations and greetings to one and all. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Major Thadeus Tinker (Retired) late of the 3rd Rajput Lancers and Depot Adjutant (on half pay don't you know?) of the Second Battalion the Royal Caledonian HIghlanders. To eke out the miserable stipend they see fit to pay me I have established an emporium of notions and fancies for like minded ladies and gentlemen. Many of these articles are crafted or modified by my own hands and manual work is so unbecoming of an officer of Her Majesty's finest.
