This is my '96 Renault Laguna RTI 2.0S 16v which I bought in January 2007. It is a rather rare Laguna, compared with the more common 1.8 8v's and the 2.0 8v's.

It has a sporty N7Q engine, which is basically a Volvo motor.

It produces around 140 bhp @ 6000 rpm, and a maximum torque of 182 NM @ 4500 rpm. Well, all least I hope the power output hasn't reduced that much through the years...

Not the engine but rather the short gearing make this Laguna pretty fast. Accelleration in the higher gears are really fun (especially in sprints where diesels are involved).

The other side of the story is that 0-100 km/h will take like 10 seconds and the maximum speed is something around 200 km/h. But hey, who cares?

Until today I made some slight mods to the Laguna:

- 17" inch rims

- ph 2 head lights

- ph 2 rear lights

- race mesh placed in front bumper and grille

- open dual exhaust

- rear bumper modification to fit the exhaust pipes

- replaced rear spoiler

- open air filter

- custom made daylight leds in the front bumper

- Sony head unit, Alpine speakers in the front doors, original tweeters in the

dashboard, Philips speakersand a small 8'' subwoofer in the trunk.

- Mirrors painted in silver colour

- Door strips painted

- Some interior parts painted in silver colour

- Dials modified (white leds)

- Replaced original antenna

More modifications planned soon:

- New exhaust with mufflers

- Larger rims

- Bumpers painted

- New custom made rear spoiler

- Upgrade current daylight leds
