Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC), an independent NGO, was established in Syria in 1942.

 

Syrian Arab Red Crescent works in the humanitarian work, and gives services in Health, Social care, Relief works in disasters and armed conflicts.

 

SARC is part of the International Movement of Red Cross and Red Crescent and works under the seven basic principles, which are:

Humanity, Impartiality, Neutrality, Independence, Voluntary Services, Unity, Universality.

 

SARC comprises of 14 branches in all Governorates in Syria.
