Right were do we start with toffeecrackle ..............hello Ros............Right i have only known ros for about 1 year....I met her through Kane( a true pro).....I have been out with ros loads and loads of time taking photos and wow she know how to spoil my pics ....from her kicking off flower heads or squashing mushrooms ....even pushing me as i am just about to take a shot ....Ros is so much fun to be out with a really good laugh .....but deep down ros is one amazing woman so true and kind WITH a HEART of GOLD ....Ros has taught me just about everything i know about taking photos and how to look at things diffrent ...my life has changed from the day i met her i have found a very good friend ...who myself and wife love to bits xxxx i can not wait till the next time we are out so i can spoil her pics lol ....But just to finnish off this Ros you and all your family are all amazing people from your best friends lots of love Gary & Karen xxxxxxxxxx

I'm not much of a wordsmith or a decent Tog, but I try. Despite what Ros may say. Just now and again on this journey we all struggle with, and often call life, we bump into individuals who enrich us and often open ways of viewing our life’s that we had many times closed off. Ros is one of those humans who ask you to look at yourself. Ros is grounded, some may say earthy. I'd say "true" Ros is direct. Some may say rude. I'd say "honest" Ros is open. Some may say vulgar. I'd say "transparent" Ros displays the qualities that so many of us want to display, and says what she means. Yet she does it without trying. Ros just does. For those reading this, you have to understand the gravity of the woman, she’s smart, funny, sexy, intelligent, caring, compassionate, wise, imaginative, thoughtful, kind, true, decent, honest, The list is almost endless. I came to photography late, but I learn quick, god not that I’m any good !! But I learn from Ros. I take the best from what Ros has to offer My point being I looked at Ros’s work rate and took many things from it. “Take a picture that you want to look at” stands out, and it’s a fundamental. Ros has done a bloody good job with her and Trevs off spring, Kane – uber talented and rides the crest of the wave. You will make it. The twins – growel – nuff said (Wendy will kill if more is added) You have passion lady and I am a better person for having met you (on a few occasions) I like photos, but seldom add to “my fav’s” because I think it’s a shitty way to make someone feel nice, I have been here for four years and have Fav’d 57 shot’s and I can explain why I like every one of them. I have got to know Ros in the last year and my contact with her is entirely through flickr. If I have one criticism of her it is a simple one. She really doesn't know just how amazing and how phonomenal her work is. She is somebody I look up to, and somebody I aspire to, within the world of photography and this is principally for three reasons: 1. Her standard of photography is some of the highest I have seen anywhere. Although her macro work is amazing and relatively unsurpassed I don't believe this to be her best gift as that lies somewhere else within the photographic world. Ros has a true inspirational gift for capturing images and characters of animals where she gets so close that you feel you know them, she has a knack for getting as close as it is possible to get to that animal without at any time being intrusive or worrying that animal. It is for me where Ros crosses the line from no longer being described as gifted as much as being described as genius. 2. She is relatively new to photography and achieves these results that could easily make you think she has been a fully fledged professional for years. This in turn gives me something very special indeed. As someone else who is also relatively new in photography Ros gives me the hope of being able to achieve material hopefully somewhere near as good as hers some time in the future. That gift that Ros gives me I can only describe as priceless. 3. Is more about Ros the person. I for one believe that if there was an award out there for the worlds best photographer and Ros was to win it that it wouldn't change her one little bit. If her pictures were to suddenly start selling for thousands each she would still be happy walking along Hartlepool sea front with a bag of chips looking for the next seagull, dog, Cat or water reflection to shoot because she just loves doing it. One of the main reasons that Flickr is one of the friendliest sites on the net and one of the most encouraging is because there are people like Ros that are here. People like her who distribute care, love, concern, empathy and edification by the bucketload. Ros you are inspiration personified. Trev xx
