Born in 1942, Lee has been an avid fan of railways since

childhood. The hometown had 5 railroads, plus trolley lines.

Began working for Erie Railroad in 1960. Became engineer

on Erie Lackawanna, but due to love for the Branford Trolley

Museum in Connecticut, moved there in 1973.

 

First visited San Francisco in 1965, and have considered

it a second home ever since.

 

Appointed a member of the Connecticut Rail Commuter Council by the governor, and founder of the Shore Line

East Riders Association.

 

Married in December, 2008 to long-term partner of 32 years, just a few weeks after Connecticut legalized

marriage.

 

Deceased December 28, 2020.
