Over the last few years photography has become my chief hobby.

I use as little enhancement as possible in my photos, believing that if it isn't in the lens it shouldn't be in the picture, (old dogs and new tricks, no doubt), though I do permit the odd fine tuning tweak.

I have been delighted, dismayed, discouraged and encouraged by the volume of quality photography on flickr.

It's a constant spur to be better............ and recently I've had some images purchased from Flickr - so maybe it's working!
