First of all. I would like to dedicate my Flickr account to my Father. The reason being if it was not for him I would not have such a big interest in classic lorries. As it lorries in their day took big part in my childhood days, when our dad was a lorry driver for Morton's of Coventry before B.R.S bought them out, then it became Morton's (B.R.S.). I had great days whenever possible going to work with him.

It's a great pity that those days have gone, and now have become memories.

 

I feel I must also give a big thank you to Neil Bartlett for giving me and my lovely wife a great opportunity in letting me book in collection to events and let me drive and take his lovely Dodge Kew plus others to shows whenever possible.

 

I have also got into the classic vehicle world now. I have 3 classic Jags. An 1989 Jaguar XJ40 That has the rare digital dash panel. Thanks to my lovely bride bought me for me as an early 36th year wedding anniversary present, and while it was displayed at it's first show at Bloxham Steam Rally 2018 I was given a 1987 New Zealand imported Jaguar V12 XJS and with any luck will be on the road in August 2021. I then was bought by my lovely bride again as another 37th year early wedding anniversary present a 1998 Jaguar XJ8 Sport. It has been stood for 7 years and is in need of some TLC. Which with any good luck with be on the road in July 2019. We would like it to be on the road on the 28th-July-2019. As it is our wedding anniversary on that date.

 

My other interests are also classic Buses, and the same goes with cars too.

 

As for sports. I like and play darts & card games too. Cribb, Canasta, Gin Rummy. I'm now taking to learning Whist.

 

I also love animals, which I think you probably know by some of my pictures.

 

I also enjoy caravanning, but I only get to do that 5 times a year. As I only use it for the events I take our cars and friend's lorries to.

 

I have a big passion on my music collection too. On which ranges from 1940s to the late 1980s.

 

I have over 500.000 files of music. Of which I have collected since 1st May 2002 to present. I call my laptop my PC jukebox.

 

I'm as daft as a brush. I do have a sense of humour that I have been told I am a mad (Well I need not add what the rest of the sentence is) LOL.

 

I just like to share with you what my hobbies and interests.

 

I have now got another Jaguar which my lovely bride has bought me. A 2007 X-Type 2.0D SE Sport. Which is top spec. That will be on the road by October. 15th-October-2019, my lovely bride bought us our very first 5 berth caravan. 2007 Sterling Eccles Sapphire Which we are both very impressed with. We have only managed to use it twice this year so far.
