I am over 50. Budding amateur photographer. Started with my trusty Minolta x300s. I eventually got a Nikon d40. Now I use a Nikon d200. I love taking pictures. I photograph most things. I just like a great picture.

I have now taken the next step. I have gone full frame. I am now the proud owner of a the d700 has proven to be kind off amazing. Still learning the tweaks and tricks.

Getting the hang of the D700. I only shoot in manual now. New phase in my photography.

I have now acquired a Canon 5d mkll. I have always been mostly Nikon. The canon has been easy to use after learning on my Nikon. So how I get on only time will tell. It’s gonna be interesting adapting my Nikon lens to the canon.

So I now have a Canon 7d. Being younger it has different ergonomics, which is for the best. Partnered with my 24mm. It's a joy to use. It is easily my go to camera. I am deciding about a 40mm. For the 5d. I enjoy using the 24mm with its 38mm field of view on the 7d.

My canon is providing an interesting journey. I love it. Canon stuff are more affordable.
