I am a nature lover and photographer. I live in the Nantahala Mountains of Western North Carolina. I enjoy birding and learning bird songs and photographing birds, I visit wildflowers, photograph them, love details of nature, and learning more about our natural environment. In the Winter I love the stark contrasts, shapes and patterns I see. I am also attracted to old barns and rustic sites.

Not only have I had the good fortune to be able to count her as my friend, I have had numerous opportunities to tag along and learn from her as she is pursuing her passion; photographing wildlife.
