Anyone else ancient enough to remember when TVs had a CRT screen that left a small glowing dot in the center for a few seconds as it powered off ?
Well, I'm not quite powering off, but I am powering down . Flickr notified me that it had found violations of their Community Standards in my postings - some, though not all, would "go away" if I opted to pay them for a Pro upgrade - but, rather than having them delete the whole site, I"sanitized" everything .
Well, it's their site, their rules . It's been a good run, and it's been fun - I very much enjoyed the feedback I got from you all !
But, time to reassess the situation . Hopefully, I'll be back with new"acceptable" content .
In the meantime, I'll still be around .
