I am very much an amateur photographer. I am gradually trying to move from depending on the auto mode of the camera having bought the camera in 2008.

Currently I am just using the camera to take pictures of sewing projects. Not getting time to take other photos.

Flickr has been great for seeing how other people do things. My family is already sick of the camera, but I think they're going to have to get used to it.

I have a Panasonic FZ-18 (not a REAL camera, the fellow at the camera shop told me!), and am gradually adding accessories. One day I will get a real ne but this does the job for now. I love how light it is, so great for travel and carrying around "just in case".
