Pathologist, father of seven (3 adopted), scout leader, Rotarian, swimmer, lifeguard. So-plenty of subjects. Enjoy making PJ style, storytelling images, and that includes set-ups and portraits. Try to make each image engaging and able to stand alone artistically- but I keep cluttered, poorly composed shots if there's even one thing I like, such as a kid's smile. No professional aspirations, just want to shoot like one. I'd like to have something published eventually, though. Strobist has guided me along a path I had always wondered about-how to light better using portable gear.

I most enjoy shooting fujichrome, so contrary to most strobists my goal is to translate all of this to film by using digital to learn. I just like film, slide film, better.
