A very worked art without ever feeling the effort. An art that is always beautiful. Beauty an essential, vital affirmation, in opposition to Official Contemporary Art. A cry of hope in humanity.

Sophie Shapiro is a truly inspirational artist. Her art never ceases to amaze me. Her use of colour and texture is a joy to behold. Being a photographer, I felt underqualified to comment at first but her wonderful manner put me at ease. I am astounded with her output and dedication to her art. Her humanity, spirituality and awareness are aspirational. I have had the honor to photograph her work on a few occasions and to see her art up close is amazing. Seeing it on a screen does not do it justice, you get a taste but not the main course. I look forward to seeing and enjoying her art and personality for many years to come. Sophie Shapiro, an enigma.
