WECAN, Women’s Empowerment Center And Network, is the vocational center of the D M Jariwala Orphanage. The 68-year-old orphanage is located in Mahim, Mumbai, has been providing housing and education to underprivileged girls aged between 4 and 18 years.

WECAN believes deeply in empowerment of women through education. This translates into the vision that all girls should have access to quality education and skills training, which will allow them to broaden their perspective and direct their own futures.
