only ever was a 'happy snapper and not very good at that

Really enjoydced my course (I have an amazing tutor - Russ Dawson my peers are really nice - especially Di (Whizbusy - Flickr) who is an amazing new photographer and my inspiration plus sooooo supports/encourages me.

I have started my course using a Fuji S8000fd - which has been the most amazing camera - so user friendly for a newcomer to photography. I now own a Canon 450D and I have a lot to learn about how to fully use this lovely camera.

I really LOVE the artistic side of photography and learning about other photographers past and present. The technical side is still very baffling to me - but hey I am sure if I study I will get there.

I have been accepted at Bournemouth Arts Collage University to study part time Foundation degree in Photographic Practise I am so excited and apprehensive, feel I might be a bit too old to learn - but I sure will give it a go.
