My name is June Robbins. I'm the daughter of a Vietnam Veteran proudly carrying on for her father, John Frye, who was a charter member of the 31st Engineer Battalion Association. The desire to reunite sparked around 2007 when my father started tracking down soldiers of the 31st Combat unit, creating a roster of veterans. After months of exhaustive research, the roster was full of names and dad contacted each one, inviting them to get together.

The group was formed at their very first reunion in 2009, in Memphis, Tennessee. Since then, the Association has grown to 100+ veterans and continues to grow by brothers reaching out to brothers.

Reunions are held every two years at a different location across the country. The group met in Branson, Missouri (2011), Las Vegas, Nevada (2013), and San Antonio, Texas (2015). The next reunion is in Colorado Springs, Colorado (2017).
