The Independent Order of Odd Fellows (I.O.O.F), also known as the Three Link Fraternity, is a worldwide altruistic and benevolent fraternal organization based on the principles of friendship, love and truth by which men and women are banded together as brothers and sisters, pledged to assist each other and those in need. It started in England in the year 1700's and in the United States in 1819.

Our aim is the elevation of human character to a higher, nobler plane; to extend sympathy and aid to those in need, making their burdens lighter, relieving the darkness of despair; to war against vice in every form, and to be a great moral power and influence for the good of humanity.

Our first tenet is purity. Our motto is friendship, love and truth. Our pillars are faith, hope and charity. Our final crown is universal justice for one and all.

Our fraternity also exists in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Belize, Canada, Chile, Cuba, Czech Republic, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, Norway, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States of America, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
