I am your typical rural farm boy living just north of Edmonton between two small towns Legal and Bon Accord. I am married with three lovely children.

I am a rookie to photography with less than 2 years experience on my Canon 40D and no previous experience in DSLR or SLR photography. Yeah, my images are not magazine covers by any stretch. I am starting to understand the camera and how to use it. Time seems to be an issue for me as it's not easy working a demanding full time job and a part time side job designing houses and then trying to be a father. I try to get out there when I can, and usually go hard when I can.

I am finding Flickr to be a wealth of information and really appreciate the groups that I belong to as well as the members to those groups who have helped me along the way. Browsing through the images of others, inspires me to get out there and find new places and subjects to photograph.

I do, very much, appreciate you critiquing my photos. It is how I learn so please don't post awards. I do apologize for keeping a totally messed up photostream. I will someday sign up for the pro account.
