My initial foray into photography began when I was 7 or 8 years old. My mother bought me a dime store brand 126 instamatic camera. I would set up my trucks and cars in different scenes and photograph them as to make them look full size.

I got my first "serious" 35mm camera, a Pentax KM, when I was about 20 years old. I took that camera everywhere I went and we have some pretty wild memories from it.

I am self taught, for the most part. I have taken classes at the local Community College and a couple workshops. I use everything from Micro 4/3 to 6 X 6 medium format, film and digital.

My wife Sheri and I work as a team. Nature and wildlife are our primary subjects but, as you can see from my Photostream, I have a very wide range of interests and I love the challenge of trying something new. Please follow the link above to see Sheri's work.

During the late '80s and through the 90's Sheri and I photographed pet birds for use in the different specialty magazines and books.

I hope you find something you like and please feel free to comment and even offer constructive criticism - that's how we all learn.

Thanks for looking...
