Pascal is one of the few remaining photographers still using film as his only medium. His purist approach to photographic art is manifest in the calibre and quality of his portfolio. Whilst most of us now have the panoply of digital dream-works in our ‘creative armoury’, I know few photographers who can rival, never mind copy, the purity and simplicity of Pascal’s work. I suppose that is the hallmark of a true artist.

I am envious of his colour film work too, whenever I attempt it I fail misserably. One of the last dedicated film photographers I know, with a clear passion for the art form.
