Ms.Placed Origins

The Great Tide of 2005, washed us inland hours away from our native home-New Orleans. After another storm, a few crazy trailer park and gumbo stories later, we arrived in Austin. Searching for like minds in a new city, we stumbled into a crazy hip craft bizarre. And so the doors of craft swung open...

A Life Less Ordinary

Elizabeth Y. Diaz more often called Elli, is

the store manager of a Hot Topic, and mother of the craftiest two year old who goes by the name of Jackson Lucas. Elli is a graduate of the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts(NOCCA), where she studied theatre during her latter high school years. She is also certified in multi-media design.

Gratia A. Siegel

Gratia A. Siegel is best known as Allie. She also was a gradate of NOCCA and studied technical theater. She is currently working on her Bachelor of Science at the University of New Orleans. Once a painter who attended a semester at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) she is now re-relocated in the Faubourg Marigny in New Orleans.

*We Stand by our Product! If you have any issues with our Jewels please feel free to contact us and we will do what we can to accomodate you.

*Most of our Jewelry is covered with several thin layers of Resin, which can take up to two weeks. Bearing that in mind we are open to special orders and/or requests. For instance if you would like a specific image used on a necklace, or a bracelet on a different type of domino.

*Many pieces are not exactly one of a kind, we use the same images on many items, however we do NOT reproduce in large quantities.

No Two bracelets are alike.

*Imagery? MsPlaced uses found items such as clippings, stickers, fonts,and our favorite- doodles. We finish all of our images on Photoshop or illustrator and sometimes by special request we use other folks doodles too.

We are in the process of getting out internet channels(i.e. Myspace, Flickr, Etsy,etc.) reworked and streamlined. Please revisit us often, we will have many more products, pictures and so forth in the coming months.
