I am an amateur photographer and have been involved in photography since the early 1980's with my first SLR a Canon A1.

My passion has returned to Landscapes and more recently away from wildlife/birds.

I occasionally photograph weddings with a friend.

UPDATE 4th June 2022:

After nearly 40 years of shooting with Canon I have now moved totally over to the Fujifilm system. The reason is because I felt my photography was becoming stale and I was lacking the drive and enthusiasm for the art of actually taking a photograph. The advances in technology have come on tremendously since I began my journey in photography way back in 1983 using a Canon A1 35mm film camera, and although this makes life very much easier in many respects , I felt I needed to go back to that basic way of taking a picture and using the physical manual controls of the camera.

It became boring and lacklustre just pressing buttons to access various controls, hence my move to Fuji and in particular the X System and the XT4.

My initial thoughts have been nothing short of outstanding and I now feel I have the thirst and enthusiasm to go out and take picture/photographs again.
