My interests are Pointers, Gundogs, and Dogs - in that order. My husband and I have owned the breed since 1977 and in that time we have bred 13 litters. We endeavour to breed dogs which can win in the show ring and give a good account of themselves in the field. To this end we have been moderately successful in that we have bred 2 Show Champions; 1 U.S. Grand Champion who was the first dog ever in the U.S. to gain all her Grand Champion points from the Field Trial classes, she also has her Junior Hunter title; 2 Junior Warrant Winners; 2 Field Trial Winners and several RCC winners. We have also bred 4 Reg. PAT-Dogs and several dogs who have gained their KCGC certificates.

I am interested in every aspect of the breed and like nothing better than to watch my dogs running free and working the wind. To see them on a grouse moor is even better.

I am a Championship Show Judge of the breed too.

Our last litter was as the result of frozen semen imported from a dual purpose kennel in the USA. Almost a complete outcross but not quite as the dog in question does have Bonnygate Chief Gunn J.W. in his pedigree. All of the resulting puppies are making a name for themselves in the show ring, and one or two of them will be trained for field trials. I have run their dam, Bonnygate Just Diana, in several autumn trials. Sadly, she is rather wayward and I am no trainer. I do keep trying though as she definitely has the ability.
