Welcome.

My view of the world has changed during the years gone by. My photos used to be about colors, contrast, compositions and cute stuff.

Without intention my photos all became about distance, isolation and silence. And for some unknown reason: Trees! Bäume! Arbres! Still some cute stuff and colour infernos from time to time, of course...

I decided not to erase too many old shots even if they are quite bad. But after more than 10 years they have grown into some kind of diary and memory lane to me I would not want to miss.

FLICKR has changed many times and sadly many friends and followers left. I am aware of many advantages and the popularity of other social medias. But I think none other than FLICKR does justice to a good presentation of photos. So I will go on here. Even though I am annoyed of the new bunch who pretend to "follow" 8000 or more people. Or who upload any of their photos in 100+ groups without sense or match. Or who favour 50 pics in less than one minute.
