I am a hobbyist and have been taking photographs seriously for about 3 or 4 years. Taking photographs offers a creative outlet and a break from my day job.

I don't expect to be great at it overnight, but to work towards a reasonable degree of technical and artistic competence.

I dabble in just about every aspect of photography, but the greatest pleasure I get is from taking photos of people on the street.
