Having been involved in photography and graphic design for most of my working life, I joined Flickr originally to display the work from a very eclectic collection of old lenses and cameras, mainly for the benefit of various friends and acquaintances with similar interests. As the collection grew, the Photostream kept pace. Working mainly with film cameras in the monochrome genre, I make no claim to producing works or art ; my primary purpose is still to demonstrate the characteristics of pre-digital cameras and lenses, and various film and developer combinations. Having retired to a life in rural New Zealand, my subject matter is of necessity rather heavily biased towards small-town architecture and life, along with the surrounding countryside.
