After many years being away from any kind of serious photography, I'm working on rebuilding my portfolio, gaining more experience, networking and exploring the vast opportunities available in the digital world.

I grew up on a small Kansas farm and while I love what a city has to offer, there will always be a lot of country boy in me. Over the years I've been a hiker, camper, rock climber, champion sled dog racer, wildland fire fighter, helicopter crewmember, volunteer fire fighter, Search & Rescue member and First Responder. I've dabbled in writing and managed to get published on a small scale. I have a degree in commercial graphics with the emphasis on technical printing. My love of photography stretches back to my high school days and now that some of my other passions have stepped back into the shadows, I have a camera in my hands once more.

While I figure out a distinct direction to follow, I'll be shooting just about anything I can think of, including nature / landscape / product / portrait / fashion / glamour/ and beauty.. With the main focus right now being to build up my portfolio, I'm constantly on the lookout for models with whom I can work.

My intent is to start pulling in some commercial work in the near future and continue to branch out. Best wishes to everyone else out there doing the same thing.

Currently living in a small town south of Kansas City.
