Hello,

I'm Carolina and this is me:

I shoot with my 35mm Minolta X-7A SLR, my Minolta Maxxum 400si SLR, my Sony A100 DSLR and most recently, my Sony A230 DSLR.

I have truly realized that there is beauty in everything; from the simplest of things that one sees everyday such as a coffee cup or a piece of fruit to the old, abandoned and decaying. And I like to use photography to capture that as best as I can. That might sound cliche but it's true.

Some of my favorite things to have in my photographs are bokeh, twinkle lights, and light/lens flares. Those things make me happy. :-) I also very much enjoy an adventure in abandonment or two. Anything that looks like it could be part of a horror movie set, is just fine with me! And recently, I have taken a very strong liking to TTV (Through the Viewfinder) photography so I purchased an old Kodak Duaflex and have begun experimenting. Stay tuned for more on that!

I enjoy using this site and have been dazzled and inspired by all of the wonderful photos here on flickr. I appreciate all of the feedback and encourage constructive criticism. I will always try to repay the favor. :)

Nice to 'meet' you!
