I garden in zones 3 and 4. Originally from Minnesota and have lived and gardened in both northern Minnesota and the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. I've recently moved to New York City for work, so I'm learning a lot of new plants, but I'm still primarily interested in cold climate gardening. My main areas of interest are hardy woody plants, native plants, landscape design, creative plant combinations, unusual annuals and tropicals, travel, and natural beauty.
