Once I discovered m42 adapters I started collecting m42 lenses. My first one was a Helios 44-2 which is still my favourite lens. I have an on/off relationship with photography. Sometimes I don't take any photos for a long time and sometimes I wish I could spend my whole day doing it. I wish I could spend a lot more money on equipment but I am not obsessed by it. I think that it's not equipment that makes you a better photographer, at least If you are not going to compete as a professional. I love all genres of photography and I enjoy the work of other photographers, either the masters or the amateurs. In the end I think it's one of the greatest hobby.
