Hi, and a big thank you to all visitors to my photostream!

I'm not a pro - just someone who enjoys snapping pics. My camera is a trusty Fujifilm Finepix 820, (100 bucks) which does me fine for now. Obviously I need to use the standard flickr tools to sharpen up some images, and change contrast etc, just like everybody else! I consider this as part of the art of photography. Taking the actual pic is only half the job. I want to really push the boundaries of what can be achieved with a simple snapshot camera. It's a fun hobby!

Update: All pics taken from Jan 2010 are with my new Lumix camera. I believe I pushed the little Fujifilm as far as it could go. Now I'm onto the next phase of the learning curve - and it's still an enjoyable hobby. :)
