When you love your city, your country, your environment, the nature that surrounds you; when you experience powerful moments with your family, with your friends, on walks, on trips; when you look at others with a certain compassion and when you can share these feelings and experiences artistically, it is an honour and a priviledge.

My photography, together with the internet and a welcoming site like Flickr, has landed me in such a wonderful situation. Now I can relate to the whole world through my photography.

Here I have the opportunity to bring forth what I do best and in return I receive so much, both by reading the messages you write, and by seeing the photos you take.

Sometimes, I get frustrated because I don't have my photography equipment with me when I see something that truly moves me. But I am learning little by little to calm myself down, to savour the moments and keep them in my heart, knowing that even without a camera, the memory of the moment is, in itself, the most important. Even Henry Cartier-Bresson encouraged amateur photographers to take pictures without cameras, simply with their eyes and their minds...

Today as I continue to progress slowly but surely, I know that my most beautiful photos will always be the ones I was unable to capture.

Quand on aime sa ville, son pays, son environnement, la nature, quand on vit des moments forts en famille, avec ses amis, durant ses promenades, ses voyages, quand on porte un regard fraternel sur les autres, et qu'on peut partager ses émotions et son vécu à travers une expression artistique, c'est un immense privilège !

Mon cheminement photographique allié à un média comme internet, un site de rencontre comme flickr, m'a placé dans cette merveilleuse situation. Je suis ainsi en relation avec le monde entier...

J'essaie d'y apporter ce que j'ai de meilleur et je reçois énormément, par les messages des uns et les photos des autres.

Parfois, j'enrage parce que je n'ai pas avec moi de quoi photographier ce qui est en train de m'émouvoir. Mais, j'apprends, peu à peu, à me calmer pour garder au fond de moi, au fond du coeur, l'essentiel de ces moments de grâce, sans photo; c'est là le plus important. Henry Cartier-Bresson encourageait, du reste, les amateurs intéressés à apprendre à photographier sans appareil, simplement avec leur regard.

Aujourd'hui, même si je continue à progresser un peu en photograpraphie, je sais que mes plus belles photos seront toujours celles que je n'ai pas pu prendre.
