Among other things I'm a wife, a mom of four adorable kids, an Australian living in the U.S. and the friend everyone calls when they want a cake that's out of the ordinary.

I've always been creative and had a passion for food. Over the years I've been an interior designer, a graphic designer and even a restaurateur back in Australia.

It wasn't until I had kids that I even knew I could 'do cakes'. I made my son's 1st birthday cake and it was so much fun I've never stopped! For me, cake decorating is the perfect marriage of art and food - sort of like grown up play dough. And the buzz I get from that first priceless reaction when I present the cake is better than...well, you get the picture!
