I recently dove headfirst into the world of Photography. Although im a rookie i do believe i have come a long long way in a short period of time. I bought a Rebel Xt off of a friend of mine who had upgraded to the 40D. I had that camera for a little over a month. I learned a lot on it, in a short time, and its what got me to where i am today. But one day while shooting one of the pins in the CF Card slot decided to break, and that was the end of the Xt. So a couple days ago i placed an order for a 30D and i got my first taste of what it can do today. Im so amazed at all the features, and everything this body has to offer.

I mostly shoot waterfowl, but i will snap anything that catches my eye. And im dearly in love with Macro Photograpy, and im sure i will be picking up some kind of 100mm Macro lens here shortly..

I guess its time to update this thing...

I recently purchased a 300f4 L USM lens. And lemme tell you, I got PRIME FEVER. This has got to be one of the sharpest lenses i have ever layed my hands on. 100% completely changed my photography.

You can usually find me roaming up and down Rt 9. Or driving circles in Bombay Hook chansing wildlife. I love to be outdoors. And Photography has become my passion in life. When im at home im wishing i was outside. Photography has taught me to be patient. It has opened my eyes to a new world. And i have made so many new friends who share similar interests. And i always look forward to getting on Flickr and seeing what gets posted next.

Thanks for looking. !

I've known Justin for a little over a year now. That's one full year of shooting all four seasons. We are coming around to Duck season again and I am very much looking forward to what images Justin will be producing. He has come a long way in a short period of time. I am impressed with his enthusiasm (and am thankful for it) because whenever I feel like throwing my camera into the Delaware Bay, Silver Lake or putting it up for auction on Ebay, he stops me from doing so. He has taught me to keep in mind that it should be fun and even when Mother Nature seems to be against me, it'll all work out in the end. He has asked me for a lot of advice on shooting but the best part is, he pays attention. We all talk shop amongst our friends but when it comes down to it, we are all on our own when it comes to producing the shots. There is no substitute for getting your butt out there and shooting. Justin does this better than anyone else I know. He busts his butt. Look for even better and greater things to come. To be honest I'm a little afraid. No one keeps me on my toes like Justin does. Thanks for keeping me going... and making me keep improving my own photography. Doug
