My name is Joe Macri. I am an artist focusing on illustration and design. Since a very young age, I have been putting my concepts and ideas on paper and canvas. I'm always drawn to unique and individual art forms and styles, applying what I like into my own work, whether it be old masters like Michelangelo, or innovators like Dr. Seuss, Thomas Hart Benton, and Diego Rivera to vintage carousel animal carvings and architectural relief detail. "Retro" product design and concepts of the 40's-60's has also been a passion and strong inspirational source of mine. Constantly striving for uniqueness and individuality to achieve compelling imagery that reflects a part of who I am.
