I am 50 years old, and have been a graphic designer for 30 years. For 13 years I freelanced as a sports photographer covering Bay area teams. I stopped shooting for almost 9 years and recently purchased a Nikon D90. I joined Flickr and am enjoying photography all over again. I love the open exchange of information and am inspired by all of the wonderful work! My favorite subject to shoot is people, even when I worked in sports, my favorite thing to do was try to capture an unposed gesture that would say something about the athlete. Besides my love for photography and design, I am a foodie, I love music and my family. My granddaughter is one of my favorite subjects. I also love fine dining, cooking, music, film, photography, football, golf, single malt scotch, a nicely aged port, and a great vodka on the rocks.
