I love to cook, but not the everyday-gotta have food to live, need something to stuff in my mouth type food--but I enjoy entertaining for a group, where I get to pick out a tablecloth and linen napkins and set the dining room table for the multi-course feast I am about to bestow on my guests.

Otherwise, mac & cheese is fine with me.

I'm the same about my baking.

Cupcakes for girlscouts? Bah!

To create an original work out of sugar is a creative outlet, something that fills my soul with satisfaction and completion, just like a flower's first bloom that I raised from seed. To bake zillions of peep cookies for the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society Fundraiser is the same to me as raising an army of protecters for our furry friends. An army of peeps.
