I am from Santa Cruz, California, USA. I have been taking photos as a hobby since I started traveling in 1988. My Dad gave me his camera to take with me on my first trip to New Zealand and Australia. It was an Olympus OM1 with a couple of lenses. I don't have many photos of that trip because they weren't very good, overexposed, etc. I finally switched to digital in 2003, and have been taking more photos than ever. I'm happy that I can finally share my photos with family and friends who live all over the world.
