Hiker, outdoor enthusiast, naturalist, hike leader, musician, carpenter, coach, volunteer, recycler, scuba diver, tree hugging dirt worshipper, who likes to take pictures. Actively involved with my sons soccer, my daughters softball, and my other daughters marching band, jazz band, concert band, and drumline. I love getting kids off the couch, and into nature. I have led hundreds, if not thousands of kids on hikes with our local "Trail Education Days" It is a week long gig where every fifth grader in our 32 school district gets to go on a hour long hike. Where local flora and fauna is pointed out and explained, as well as letting them ask as many questions as they want. It is set up in a joint effort with Conejo Valley Unified School District, and Conejo Open Space Conservancy Agency. I have also led numerous scout hikes. I am an avid geocacher, which provides me with many great destinations for taking pictures. Now if I could only get good at it. I am also what I call a professional beach comber. I could spend hours just walking up the coast looking for treasure. Which brings me to another hobby of mine, looking for seaglass.
