Hello,

my name is Andreas and I live in a small village in the north west of Germany.

Just 20km far from my home the Meyerwerft is located. In this shipyard many cruise ships were built and will be built in future. Royal Caribbean, Norwegian Cruise Line, AIDA Cruises, Celebrity Cruises etc. are the customers of Meyerwerft.

Some years ago I started to take photos from the new ships from outside and published them on my own website.

Step by step it became more intensive. In 2005 I was invited by NCL to take interior photos from Norwegian Jewel. From this moment I was "infected" by cruise ships and I tried to get access to the coming new cruise ships. It was not quite easy but finally successful.

So, hopefully in the future I can present many more nice photos from new cruise ships on my website and here in flickr.
