I am taking photos since I was a schoolboy.
First I had a Agfa clack with roll films in black and white.
Later I used SLR-cameras to get slides.
Now I have a Canon EOS 450D with diverse objektives, normal, macro and tele.
I am a enthusiastic plant lover. My wife love plants too but not so enthusiastic.
So we have a garden mit many plants, perennials, shrubs, trees, bulbs, rockerie plants and many in Germany exotic plants.
Our vacations must ever have a plant background.
My wife and I are both retired teachers with the subjects mathematics and phsysics. Later I was teaching computer science in addition.
My wife worked at a school simalar to a Junior High School but including also classes 9 and 10, in Germany we call it a Realschule.
I myself worked at a school whose role is difficult to describe in Germany too.
It is called a Kolleg, but is not a college.
In Germany you need a university-entrance diploma that you can get at the end of the secondary-school. Colleges between school and university do not exist.
You can leave school-education with 16 years ang go then to a company as trainee for about 3 years. Those graduates have no diploma to get to university.
If they want to get such a diploma after the 3 years or later, they have to go to school again.
Two forms of schools for it exist in Germany, an evening-school or a day-school. These day-schools are named Kollegs.
I worked for 39 years at such a Kolleg, the students at a Kolleg are adults with a minimum age of 19 years and no maximum age.
The oldest student was older than 70 years.
In the last 10 years of my work I specialized in teaching mathematices with help of computer-algebra-software.
I published my experiences in some small books.
Thereby a German publishing company got attention of my knowledge of mathematics and phsysics.
So from time to time I have to corrigate mathematical or physical books. Al last I had to write myself such a book for repeating physics.
