My name is Angela Ungren and I am an award winning artist from Jacksonville, North Carolina. I am mostly Self taught with the Exception of a few Art lessons from my Aunt Catherine Gill. I am a member of the CFAI And Daily Painters of North Carolina. And an international portrait artist. My art is important to me and I love to explore different styles and mediums. I want to reach out and touch the snow in my painting or feel the texture of a birds feathers. My artwork is my Legacy, I take it seriously as it is a part of me. It will outlast me in the end, and I feel It is my duty to capture as many memories of my life or feelings as I can to bring to the world. I am consistently striving to Improve, Experimenting with colors and trying new styles. I have been a hand selected Artist at the Swansboro Arts by the Sea juried Event, as well as interviewed by the Swansboro Tideland Newspaper to be featured in an article about my work.
