Born and raised in Oregon, I was in the outdoors from a early age. I got my first camera at six. I had a progression of Instamatic's growing up. Got a Canon AE-1 in high school and used that for years. I just got my first Digital SLR in 2013. A Canon T3 with a 55-250mm lens. Since I started with film, I still don't shoot as many shots as I should. Working on shooting more. Next up, would like a larger zoom lens.

I have been with UPS for 30 years. I still like to carry my Canon Powershot with me on route. It's small, fits in a pocket and takes decent pics. I cover about 150 miles a day and get to see some beautiful country.. My passion is Landscapes and Waterfalls. I am a backyard birder and like to snap a shot when possible. We camp for a week near Burns Oregon every year. With several small streams and meadows, its a good chance to find butterfly's. Every week I'm out hiking or fishing, tho my T3 doesn't go for boat rides. Lost a AE-1 when our canoe tipped over in three feet of water. My current goals are...Shoot night lights and moving water.
