I teach English as a second language in Cairns and have just completed the Cambridge Diploma of English Teaching. In 2007 I made a 10 month solo road-trip around Australia, the highlight was swimming and videoing remote Karajini canyon in NW of Western Oz. I have recently returned from the tip of Cape York.

I did my BA and B.Sc at the Australian National University, Canberra majoring in Archaeology and Geography; my Diploma of Secondary Education at University of Tasmania, Hobart; and my ESL Diploma at University of Otago, Dunedin.

A highlight of my 4 years in New Zealand was an 8 day solo hike through the Southern Alps. I've spent three years in Makurazaki in the south of Kyushu, Japan, teaching English under the JET scheme. I also traveled around China, holidayed in Okinawa and experienced New Years Eve in Seoul - yummy but explosive!

My earlier scanned images are taken with a Canon EOS on Fuji velvia, my new stuff is with a Canon 5D MkI and MkII, now upgraded to the wonderful 5D MkIII, and L series lenses.

I have finished up at Cairns and am heading back to the Blue Mountains for a spell, who knows where I'll end up next...
