Just an amateur who has always enjoyed photography. First pictures I made were with my parents' Brownie Hawkeye. My first camera of my own was a Kodak Instamatic 150 and boy was I happy and proud of that. Last camera I actually understood was my Pentax K1000--since then they have all been smarter than me--which may not be that difficult. Late to switch to digital, so will be loading some scans of film prints along with newer images.

Look forward to seeing and learning from the other work posted here. Humbling and inspiring to see so much great work by so many people.

Flickr only allows for creating 3 Sets to organize a non-Pro account, so for now I have used 2 and divided images between "Natural"--plants, landscapes, etc., and "Constructed"--(thought "un-natural" might attract the wrong viewers) and includes anything man-made. The 3d category will probably be for old prints from film that I scan when I get around to it.

NOTE ON IMAGES: Due to limits Flickr places on uploads, images are reduced from original size, but are still --for the most part--best viewed at the largest size on the photostream. Well, maybe it is 50/50--it will either make them look their best or emphasize my shortcomings as a photographer...

FAVORITES: There are some wonderful photographers and Images on Flickr. I have collected just a fraction as "Favorites", but I think each one is better than the next and a viewer will be well rewarded for taking time to review them.
