I am a longtime resident of Michigan's beautiful, scenic Upper Peninsula, and spent a great deal of my youth deep in the southland, in eastern Kentucky, stomping up and down the foothills of the Appalacian mountains.

I graduated in 1997 from a private school in the eastern UP, and went directly into college at Devry Institute of Technology, in Columbus, Ohio, but thru a twist of fate I was granted the chance to fulfill a lifelong dream, and persue a career in the Merchant Marine, sailing aboard the freighters that ply their trade across the Great Lakes.

I have always had a deep and abiding love for the arts and expressing myself. (even if it means doing or making something that may seem wierd or silly to others), and since 2001, I have poured my heart and soul into Pit Viper Studios, located right here in downtown Ishpeming, Michigan.

As for my studio, I have enjoyed seeing what was once just a hobby in a small corner of my living room blossom and grow into a full flegded studio, now in the process of moving into its new roughly 1,600 sq. foot space.

Pit Viper Studios has had its ups and downs, since its founding but through it all, it has steadily moved forward, as our skills and expertise grow, along with the scope of the work we are able to do.

It has been a fantastic ride so far, seeing so many peoples hopes and dreams made reality, and I can't hardly wait to see where we will go from here.
